The Water Project

We are delighted with our investments in The Water Project (TWP). We believe that we are helping to transform lives with our support to provide clean and safe water. But we also think that we have helped to impact those lives significantly every single day. And, we think The Water Project is one of the most effective benefit for dollar contributed charities anywhere.

Here is our experience with The Water Project and The African Sand Dam Foundation: 

We have contributed $275,000 to sponsor a total of 75 projects in Eastern Africa, primarily Kenya.

TWP estimates that we have been part of helping 45,000 people with the projects we have been involved with. This is of course an estimate, and if anything, it probably benefits even more people.

Based on a rough estimate of the time our projects have been in place, we think we have been able to provide clean water to all of the estimated people in the aided group at a cost of US 2 cents per person per day.

2 Cents per day!!

This cost will go down as these projects, which incur fixed costs up front but require almost no cost over time, provide benefits for years to come.

How else can you provide life-transforming help to over 45,000 people for only 2 cents per day. Incredible!
